Big Brother 9 : Dale Howard

Big Brother 9 is well underway, with the housemates failing their first shopping task the fun and games have started.

 dale howard1

Age: 21     From: Liverpool        Occupation: PE Teaching student       Status: In a relationship

dale howard2
Dale is a super-confident part-time DJ from Liverpool. He is desperate to be rich and famous and have girls screaming his name. He rates himself 10/10 for looks and believes his peers are often jealous of him. Dale is described by his friends and family as friendly, funny but mostly arrogant, big-headed and over-confident.

dale howard4
Dale is currently studying to be a PE teacher, although deep down he dreams of being a pro- footballer. In his youth, he had trials with Manchester United and Wigan Athletic but didn’t get through, which he now regrets. He likes to keep his body in good shape by daily visits to the gym and playing football for his university.

dale howard6
Dale’s first love is now music and he loves to DJ in his spare time. He says that dj’ing is the second thing in the world that makes him happy, after money. A party animal, Dale loves to go clubbing in Liverpool at the weekend with his mates.
Dale loves “fit” girls and has a thing about women with funny noses! His dream celebrity dates would be Mischa Barton and Abbey Clancy.

dale howard5
To Dale, winning Big Brother means everything. He says: "F*** taking part? No one remembers the losers." He believes he should be on the show because of his good looks and says he gets on with everyone, especially girls. He claims that he is mentally and physically strong and ready to take on any challenge Big Brother throws at him.

Shia Labeouf

I still haven't seen the new Indiana Jones movie, I will get round to it  soon.  Just been really busy.

shai labeoufshai labeouf1

SHIA LaBEOUF credits ANGELINA JOLIE's father JON VOIGHT with his acting success - insisting he doubted his future in Hollywood before befriending the veteran star.

 shia1

The 21-year-old co-starred with Voight in 2003's Holes - the movie credited with shooting the Indiana Jones star into the Hollywood big time.  And Voight's words of wisdom led to the young actor to fall back in love with his craft - and insists he "loves" Voight for his kind approach.

 shia3

LaBeouf says, "I guess he saw a kid who needed something that he could provide, which was guidance, a male figure, all of that, education. Jon showed me that there was so much to strive for.  "It all just started being very emotional for me and I fell in love with the title 'actor'.   He adds, "He's just a great friend. He's a loving man. I love that guy."

'Bloody Valentine' Remake Gets a Villain

Horror fans are savvy enough to know that when a remake casts stars of teen-skewing TV shows in the leads, that can mean only one thing: the dreaded PG-13. The Hollywood Reporter says that television veteran Kerr Smith has joined the cast of My Bloody Valentine 3-D. He'll be playing Axle Palmer, and THR describes him as married to Sarah (Jaime King) and the nemesis of Tom (Jensen Ackles), which sounds villainous.

 kerr_smith_01

Smith was effectively creepy as a real jerk in Final Destination and I assume he'll bring some of that edgy attitude to his role as a nemesis, but he's better known for his roles on Dawson's Creek and Charmed.

jensen ackles

Likewise, Ackles is currently starring in Supernatural and is also a veteran of Smallville and -- surprise! -- Dawson's Creek. King has a decent string of movie roles as well as TV appearances and will be in Frank Miller's upcoming The Spirit. But I suspect that the casting of the young-looking Smith and Ackles means they're trying to appeal to the teen crowd.

Trent Croad

Trent Eric Croad (born March 9, 1980 in New Zealand), is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.  Croad is one of only ten VFL/AFL players to have been born in New Zealand. His grandfather Eric Bloggs was an All Blacks rugby union player between 1946-1949 including the tour of South Africa. Trent grew up in Narre Warren in Victoria where he began playing Aussie Rules.

trent_croad trent-croad

Starting with Hawthorn as an 18-year-old after being picked up at number 3 in the 1997 AFL Draft, Croad started out as a defender, playing at either centre half-back or fullback. But he showed his versatility as his career went on, being able to play in any number of key positions.

trent croad2

Croad not only has a successful football career, but his good looks have been used to appear at several social functions, including the 2005 Flemington Spring Racing Carnival fashion launch, and appearances on Western Australian food and wine TV shows. He has also appeared in the Men For All Seasons calendar.

trent croad1

On the 14th October 2006 Croad married Tanya Stewart. Together they run a male hair-care company called Gear and they have a daughter, Kiera.

James Tanner

James Tanner (born 1976 in Kent) is a British chef and television personality. He currently appears on the BBC cookery programme Ready Steady Cook.

james tanner2

After studying hotel management he worked in the kitchens of several well-known restaurants, often with his older brother Chris. He worked his way up through the ranks until he was invited by the Roux brothers to move to the US and work in upstate New York, where he was Chef de Partie at the Lake Placid Lodge. Within four months he was promoted to junior sous chef.

james tanner

He worked his way up the ranks and on returning to England took a job under Martin Blunos at the two Michelin-starred restaurant Lettonie in Bath before a head-chef role at Right on the Green in Kent.    In 1999, aged 23, James and his brother Chris opened Tanners Restaurant in Plymouth.

james tanner3

James' television career began in 2002 when he and brother Chris made their first TV appearance on a competition called 'Chef Stars', a promotion run by UKTV Food and broadcast predominantly on their flagship show Good Food Live (more recently known as Great Food Live). The brothers didn't make it through to the final, but they made an impression.   James became a semi-regular guest on Great Food Live which was shot at the same studios as Ready Steady Cook. He was recommended to audition for the show and duly became a regular. At the heart of his style during his TV appearances is the repetition of his catchphrase "Like so", used in order to make various culinary techniques seem easy, encouraging members of the public to give them a try, and also to assuage viewers' fears of unfamiliar ingredients, as well as "dig down deep". Many feel that his influence on the Great British Public's attitude towards cuisine rivals that of his peers Jamie Oliver and Ainsley Harriott.

James also continues to appear on Saturday Kitchen and Great Food Live (now cancelled).

Prince Harry

Following up on Prince William, here is Prince Harry so you can decide which of the two is hotter.   Prince Henry of Wales (Henry Charles Albert David; born 15 September 1984), commonly known as Prince Harry, is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and his first wife, the late Diana, Princess of Wales. A grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, he is third in the line of succession to the thrones of the United Kingdom and the other fifteen Commonwealth realms, behind his father and his older brother, Prince William.

prince_harry

He holds the rank of Lieutenant in the Blues and Royals regiment of the Household Cavalry of the British Army. Harry was a tank commander, trained to lead a 12-man team in four armoured reconnaissance vehicles. After the decision not to send him to Iraq, he retrained as a battlefield air controller, the job he performed in Afghanistan. He was serving on the front line in Afghanistan although he was pulled out on 29 February 2008 after the world media found out about his presence there and the British authorities became concerned for his safety and the safety of those around him. He had served in Afghanistan between 14 December 2007 and 29 February 2008, for a total of 77 days.

prince harry2

Harry's full title is His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales, although he is commonly referred to as Prince Harry. As a prince, he does not need a surname (which would be Mountbatten-Windsor, if needed). Like his brother William, however, Harry often uses "Wales" in place of a surname when required.

Prince William

I was having a discussion with someone about whether Prince William or Prince Harry is the hottest.  I still can't decide.  So here's the first part of a two part comparison.  I will feature Prince Harry shortly.

prince_william_03

Prince William of Wales (William Arthur Philip Louis; born 21 June 1982) is the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, he is also the elder brother of Prince Harry. He is second in the line of succession to the British throne and those of each of the other Commonwealth Realms. As the son of the Prince of Wales and the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince William is a member of the British Royal Family. He was the first prince to be born into the immediate royal family since the birth of Prince Edward in 1964.

prince_william_01 prince_william_04

The prince served as a Cornet in the Blues and Royals regiment of the British Army's Household Cavalry in 2007, together with his younger brother, Prince Harry. Within his regiment, he was known as Cornet William Wales. In April 2008 William earned his wings by completing pilot training at RAF Cranwell. His rank was Flying Officer but he was given the callsign Billy the Fish by his fellow pilots, a pun on his name William Wales which also uses a part of his father's title for his surname.

David Goodwillie

On March 4, 2006, Goodwillie became the youngest ever player to score an SPL goal when he came off the bench to score for United against Hibernian at Easter Road.

david goodwillie2

A product of the Dundee United youth system, Goodwillie initially joined the club from Stirling-based boys' club Carse Thistle, he was spotted whilst playing with the Scottish Youth FA Development Squads. He signed as a professional for Dundee United in March 2005, and made his debut for the first team just four months later in the final of the pre-season Discovery Cup tournament against Sheffield Wednesday. His first appearance in a major competitive fixture was against Rangers in December 2005, with his record-breaking goal following in his fifth outing, all having been as a substitute. Goodwillie signed a new contract in October 2006, extending his stay until the end of the 2009-10 season.

david goodwillie

Goodwillie has represented Scotland at several youth international levels, and is currently a member of the national Under-19 squad, scoring a first half hat-trick in February 2007 against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

david goodwillie2

On 1 November 2007, Goodwillie joined Raith on a two-month loan, which was subsequently extended until the end of the season.
